Sarah-Jane Dale (Soprano)

Sarah-Jane’s most recent recitals were at the ROYAL OPERA HOUSE, Covent Garden in their Crush Bar series and at the Banqueting House in Whitehall.

Sarah-Jane studied at the Guildhall School of Music with Laura Sarti where she won all the major awards and graduated with distinction.
She was the British representative in the Rimsky-Korsakov Competition in St. Petersburg where she reached the semi-final. She has given recitals in Moscow and Tver and has sung in the Malya Hall in St.Petersburg. She has broadcast on Radio and Television for the BBC and has also performed for H.R.H. Prince Charles and at Kensington Palace.

She has sung at English National Opera, the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican, St. John’s Smith Square, Purcell Room, the British Museum, Fairfield Halls, and at numerous venues throughout the country and Europe.

Operatic roles include Pamina (Die Zauberflote) at the Wexford Opera Festival, Countess Almaviva (Marriage of Figaro) and Euridice (Orpheus and Euridice) for English Touring Opera, Micaela (Carmen) and Contessa (Le nozze di Figaro) at the Dartington International Festival, Miss Jessel (The Turn of the Screw) at the Snape Maltings and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni) for London Opera Players.

She is also a very busy Oratorio soloist with a large repertoire including Pergolesi Stabat Mater, Bach St John Passion and Magnificat, Vivaldi Gloria, Handel Messiah, Haydn The Creation and Nelson Mass, Mozart Mass in C, Requiem, Mass in C minor, Vespers, Verdi Requiem, Janacek Glagolithic Mass, Mendelssohn Elijah, Beethoven Missa Solemnis with the English Arts Chorale and Verdi Requiem to name a few.

As a recitalist, she has given recitals at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Edinburgh Festival, Dulwich Picture Gallery, Binham Priory, Leighton House and Winchester Cathedral amongst others.

She sings in duos with internationally renowned guitarist Andrew Keeping, Harpist Luisa Maria Ovett and Tenor Andrew Morris. She also performs with String Quartet, Harp and Flute and Jazz Quartet.
Recent engagement highlights include Vaughan Williams Sea Symphony at Snape Maltings, the cover of Oxana in Tchaikovsky’s Cherivichki for Garsington Opera, Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni) at the Thaxted Festival and a World Record breaking tour performing in 80 venues in 7 days to launch her second CD with Luisa-Maria.

Andrew Morris (Tenor)

Andrew Morris has been a soloist at Batignano Opera Festival , Dublin Grand Opera, Aix-en-Provence Festival, St John’s, Smith Square, Fairfield Halls, St Alban’s Abbey, Worth Abbey, Hexham Abbey, Greyfriars Kirk, Vezere Festival, and in Prague, Belgium, France and with numerous opera companies and choirs throughout the country.

He studied at the Royal Northern College of Music with Ryland Davies and currently studies with Russell Smythe.

Repertoire includes Verdi Rigoletto (Il Duca), La Traviata (Alfredo), Donizetti L’elisir d’amore (Nemorino), Lucia di Lammermoor (Edgardo), Don Pasquale (Ernesto), Daughter of the Regiment (Tonio), Mozart Cosi fan tutte (Ferrando), Don Giovanni (Don Ottavio), Stravinsky A Rake’s Progress (Tom Rakewell), Eugene Onegin (Lensky), Rossini La Cenerentola (Ramiro), Italian Girl in Algiers (Lindoro) and Sondheim Sweeney Todd (Signor Pirelli).

Oratorio repertoire includes Bach B Minor Mass, Beethoven Symphony No 9, Missa Solemnis, Handel Messiah, Haydn St Nicholas Mass, The Seasons, The Creation, Nelson Mass, Harmoniemass, Mendelssohn Elijah, Mozart Vespers, Rossini Petite Messe Solennelle, Stabat Mater and Stravinsky Pulcinella.

Andrew also has a large Recital and Concert repertoire ranging from the 18th century to the present day and this Spring will be recording his first cd with soprano Sarah-Jane Dale.

Recent  engagements include L’Elisir d’amore (Nemorino), and La Traviata (Alfredo) for Vox Lirika (London and on tour).
Future engagements include Don Giovanni (Don Ottavio), Rigoletto (Il Duca), Don Pasquale (Ernesto) and La Traviata (Alfredo) on tour with other companies and concerts in Belgium.

SARAH-JANE DALE & LUISA-MARIA CORDELL (Soprano & Harp)
   
Sarah-Jane Dale and Luisa-Maria Ovett are one of Britains most sought-after Harp and Voice duos. As individual artists they have a vast amount of performing experience in Britain and Europe and are regular performers on the Continent having performed in Russia, Portugal and France.
                                                                                                                                      
In the UK, their performances have taken them to Kensington Palace, the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican, Kenilworth Castle, Beaulieu Abbey, Binham Priory and numnerous cathedrals, recital venues and theatres from Aberdeen to Penzance.   
      
A HOST OF WELL-KNOWN CLASSICS, RARELY PERFORMED WORKS, FOLK SONGS, OPERATIC ARIAS, SONGS FROM THE MUSICALS AND SOLO HARP REPERTOIRE. We also work with composers to perform new works written recently.
